Chris Watts
Chris Watts is the Director - Regulatory Affairs at S&C Electric Company. He joined S&C from Ofgem, where he worked on a range of network and energy regulations, including playing a key role in price-control reviews, including the development and implementation of Ofgem’s new RIIO price-control framework. As part of the RIIO control team, Watts developed and implemented Ofgem’s approach to cost assessment and led work on the development of a number of outputs and incentives. Watts earned a Ph.D in Economics at Southampton University. At S&C, he is now enjoying the new challenge of using his economic and regulatory knowledge to develop opportunities for working with the electricity distribution network operators.
